Marina’s Mac and Cheese Recipe
1 box of pasta, your choice
1 extra large brick of cheddar cheese (2 lbs) shredded
1 package of shredded mozzarella cheese
Dash of salt
Dash of dried mustard
3 tbsp flour
6 tbsp of butter
2 cups of milk
1.) Cook pasta in boiling water until al dente.
2. ) Deposit pasta in a large casserole dish.
3.) In a medium sized saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
4.) Once butter is melted, whisk in flour until dissolved.
5.) Once the butter flour mixture has completely combined, slowly stir in 2 cups of milk.
6.) Gradually add cheddar cheese to saucepan a handful of cheese at a time, constantly stirring. Wait until cheese has melted to add the next handful.
7.) Once all of the cheese has been melted, add a dash of salt, and dried mustard for flavor. If you prefer your cheese mixture to be thicker, add more cheese until you have reached your desired thickness.
8.) Lastly stir in ½ bag of mozzarella cheese until melted.
9.) Pour your warm cheese mixture over pasta until fully coated in cheese.
10.) Sprinkle remaining ½ bag of mozzarella on top.
